Started Blogging Again…

Which, as I read that back, sounds like a complaint you might make to your GP. But it’s not. Instead it’s that I haven’t done a blog in ages, so I thought I should. Here you go. ’14 Years A Clown’ https://www.tiernandouieb.co.uk/2017/08/14-years-a-clown/

14 Years A Clown

14 Years A Clown

It occurred to me while tucking into some toast off the A1 near Berwick on Tweed, that I’ve been doing stand-up comedy for 14 years this year. Not sure why it hit me at that moment but it was probably a combination of me feeling relief that I was finally on my way home from […]

Things I Learned From This Year’s EdFringe

Right, that’s another Edinburgh Fringe over with. Here’s a little post I did about it:

4 star review in Three Weeks

Reviews in Edinburgh this year have been a bit sparse, with lots of acts sticking stars on their posters from weird community radio stations or someone on Twitter who wanted free tickets. So, I’m very chuffed to have a lovely 4* review from Three Weeks, which I think sums up what my show is all […]

Another Edinburgh Fringe Q & A!

Here’s another Edinburgh Fringe Q & A courtesy of the excellent Punchline Comedy. Read some things what I wrote. Come to my show: In the Hot Seat: Tiernan Douieb

More EdFringe Q&A’s….

This one is a Q&A for Broadway Baby. One question they asked was ‘ask yourself a Q then answer it’. They then don’t specify which one that is on the write up. If I’d known that, I’d have asked something else. Anyway, enjoy guessing which one it is! http://bwb.by/8zn

Punchline Recommends….

… Well my show amongst lots of other really actually good ones. Very nice to be included. If you’re at the Edinburgh Fringe, do come along: Punchline’s 2017 Fringe Recommendations

Leicester Ride Pics

As per every year, last week I did my annual shouting at children who’ve just passed their Leicester cycling proficiency test. This year the Leicester Ride event was at the cathedral which was an amazing setting. Though I’m quite worried I upset the bones of Richard III by shouting fart jokes at him.

Stand Up For Refugees

Our last Stand Up For Refugees gig, raising money for the very important charity Help Refugees, was at the Brighton Dome this Weds (June 21st). Myself and the brilliant Jen Brister organised and ran seven shows and while we’re still waiting for exact final figures it’s currently looking like we’ve raised over £50k for the charity […]

HuffPo Blog on #CallYourGrandfolks for #ge2017

A little blog I did for HuffPo on the generation divide and voting Labour on Thursday: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/tiernan-douieb/general-election_b_16969098.html
